This is not a should I go / should I cancel thing or a I'm gonna cancel thing.
But it is a "I'm concerned about my trip" thing. We are supposed to be going home Feb 12-19th. This would be our third trip since the pandemic started. DW and I have had a difficult year and we really need our home. We need to recharge, and only Disney has the kinda cord that fits our power packs.
I am concerned with all the flights being cancelled left and right and all the services being shut down and people being taken out of the work force in droves. New cases in the US were at 550,000!!! Florida cases up by 948%. We are talking about closing our company doors again until some of this blows over. Whether it's the flights being cancelled, the airport being closed, the ability to get to the airport, Disney CM's, etc. DW is at the point where she says if the plane is cancelled, she's just gonna turn the car the other direction and drive it through (about 17 hours from where I live, I think). Not sure I agree.... but I get how she is feeling.
If we can go, we will go. But the news sure is making me pessimistic (and I'm usually the optimist). Looking for some support here. Give me hope that the world isn't gonna stop turning before Feb. LOL. I mean at this pace, the entire population of the US will catch covid every day (how is that even possible???).
