Hello everyone,
I am planning my 3 visit to disney. I want to include other things this time like busch gardens sea world and universal. That being said...I have stayed onsite the other two times now i am thinking of a villa... like Marriot sheritin etc...I was even looking at some of the sunterra's property. I am not a timeshare owner. What would be the cheapest way to go about this . Schedule a time share presentation for 90 min. for a deal, rent from a timeshare person, or go to a place like shyauctions. Can anyone tell me the pro;s and con's of this and also what are some nice places . Also is there a certain day for a check in and a check out. I would like to check in on a tuesday where i can get cheaper air fare . thank you guys sorry for being so long. :sunny: Leslee

here are several places to rent

www.skyauction.com - great for last minute
www.condodirect.com - more expensive than some others
www.myresortnetwork.com - renting from the owners
www.bidshares.com
www.redweek.com - both owners, resalers and some developers
http://www.tug1.org/tugads/1-1sposted1.html

always read the ad carefully.

some of the ones on skyauction want you to bid on plane tickets too - I don't see these as a great bargin (although some people do). but I can fly on Southwest for $116 per person - so paying $195 per person plus extra costs if you don't flight out of their cities - is not something I intend to do.

also there are some hotels - hotels want $32 per night, timeshares want $195 for the whole week.

I have gotten some great bargin on skyauction. So the choice is up to you.

All the Marriotts are very nice as are HGVC and Sheratons Vistana Resorts.

To check Marriott rates, go to their website and type M11 in the promo code box. They may have member only rates for your dates which are often very good. You can sign up for their rewards program free online.

To see their resorts, try www.vacationclub.com.

Hilton Resorts are www.hgvc.com
and Sheratons resorts are www.starwood.com

If you do a search on this forum you will find lots of reviews/discussions on all of these resorts. You really can't go wrong with any of them. They are all also a pretty easy commute to Disney.

Happy planning!
