I need wording help and thought maybe you all could help. I am not sure how to word something and was wondering if you wouldn''t mind giving me your input.

My daughters Godmother and her partner are adopting a baby boy due to be born in June. I want to give them a special gift but when I address the card do I send it to mommy and mommy? It may sound like a silly question but I just am not sure. Would it be mom and mommy?

I think people do all sorts of things with names the baby will eventually call them. Some people let it develop naturally.

Some people choose "mama" for one partner and "mommy" for the other--I think we're planning something like that. You could ask if they know what they are planning about this.

Or you could just send the card to the "Moms-to-be" or just "Mommy and Mommy." I'm sure whatever you do your friends will appreciate it.
