Need a great camera with the video feature

hey everyone. I hope I'm posting this in the right place I am planning a trip to Disney and may with my family and my four-year-old son. I am looking for a fantastic digital camera with great zoom ability for my vacation coming up, my cameras never seem to catch quick movement, I also would love to have a video feature on the camera, any suggestions are welcome, I'd like to stay under $500 if possible,thanks! Can you post photos of your pics using the camera?

Just want to let you see what a mid range SLR photo's look like. Heck if your going to want good photo's you might as well get your money's worth. To get a quality pictures and video you will need to spend a little. there are some point and shoots out there that might be cheaper but i guess that's up to you.
