Because I had to use a "K" in the beginning. It's a family tradition. My DH's family. All huskies have official names starting with K. Missy's official name was Our Last name's Kathrine Melissa. We were going to call her Katie, but she was doing something and I channeled my Grandpa "Listen here, Little Missy". DH thought it perfect and that is what she was called ever since.

You named your dog after me! Thanks- that's so sweet. That's really my name and you pronounced it right! Well, I don't see the accent marks I say it: KEY-na. Maybe you're doing key-NA. The important part is that you didn't make it Key-E-na. Good lord how I hate that one.

Seems we're all Disney fans. Only difference is that I'm a girl.
