Comfort Inns are usually decent but after checking this link, it appears people didn't enjoy their stay. I think this is the same one:

tripadvisor is usually hit or miss - but then again, after stying onsite anything else is a Motel 8

wow, those r some descriptive reviews on TA

i'm disturbed by the one that uses the terms:

"grubby" & "not too bad but beward of the maintenance man"

there's a story there somewhere

fyi, if you belong to the Choice Hotels Rewards Program and book one of their hotels and find it to be "inadequate" due to obvious cleanliness, saftey issues...get thee to another Choice hotel in the area & call the rewards number from their office. We were accommodated @ a Clarion for Econolodge rates in Sandusky...was told it's standard MO to keep their customers happy, they guarantee the level of accommodations.
