Need a 2 bd instead of the 1 bd for Oct

We are so excited to have our son & daughter-in-law (& their baby!) join us for the first half of our Oct trip. Of course, a 2 bedroom would be more comfortable instead of the 1 bedroom that we currently have reserved. We are booked at the Boardwalk. Besides SSR, where do you think we'd be able to get that 2 bedroom? We're on a WL at Boardwalk for a 2 bedroom, but have doubts it'll come through. We like Boardwalk because of its proximity to Epcot - during F&W!

Any suggestions?

October is tough because its food and wine so very few people are probably going to Cancel. Maybe Old Key West. Most people want the Epcot are resorts during that time.

Unfortunately no suggestions. Have you looked at Resort availability on DVC? If so you will note that SSR has limited availability.

Maybe book them a studio at a different resort? You may be able to get them something at Saratoga. Pickings are slim. Or maybe just get them something at a value resort. You can all still gather at your place.

Are you aware of the resort availability tool? You can look at the availability for all the resorts and see what's open or what may have partial availability. At BWV I think you may want to waitlist for a studio as well as the 2 bedroom. Because they are all lockoffs you would need someone to either cancel a 1 bedroom and a studios or the 2 bedroom lockoff but with the 2 BR cancellation it might actually go to a studio or 1 bedroom waitlist that was made before your request.
