I should also say that I'm an airline amployee and we'll actually arrive at WDW and do a 1 night room only for Sat, June 10, so I plan on going by ALSMO inn the morning and checking in and going on to the parks on Sunday. I'm doing the dining plan for 6 nights and 8 day park hoppers. Trying not to plan too much since our DD 3 gets tired in the afternoon. DH will take her back to the room and let DD 7 and I play by ourself if we need to. I'm trying to make sure I use the dining plan to full advantage but not be as commando in the touring as we were on our 1st trip. Thanks in advance.

Since you'll be in Epcot on the day you need the TS my vote goes to Marrakesh! It is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant, the food is wonderful and the belly dancer is fun. It is definitely on our must return to list. While you're in Morocco be sure to stop by the Kidcot area even if your kids aren't doing the masks. The CMs there are wonderful and have a lot of fun singing and talking to and with the kids.

We'll be at Chef Mickey's for dinner the same night as you! I looked at my plans for the night that you have open just to compare...we are doing Sci Fi Drive In at MGM. Have you ever been there? Your kids will love it! The food is okay, but the atmostphere is awesome! Let me know if you want more info.

We are actually in the same boat...I have one more TS credit left that I don't know what to do with.

if you are planning on ts at mk i'e probably do cp
if you are planning ts at epcot, i'd do Lecellier, or Beirgarten
you could also go to Ohana ( either before mk or after depending on where you are going first) and get as early seating as you can but they are only open for dinner

If you are in EPCOT at Dinner time than I'd vote for Marrakesh or Le Cellier. If MK...I'd say CP for the Pooh characters. Or if you don't want to eat in the park, (if at MK) you can go to Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona or anywhere on the monorail.

Our family was there last week. We ate at Le cellier, Marakesh, and Chef's de France.

Le Cellier wins hands down. It's not even close. If it were a signature resturant (2 ts credits under the dining plan) as it used to be it would still probably be worth it.

For us Marakesh was a distant third. We like North African food, and didn't think it was that great. Not horrible, but not very inspired either. (booked it at the last minute to get the CP tickets).

OK, based on opinions we've decided to switch and do a late dinner at Resteraunt Marrakesh on Epcot night instead of the Tangerine Cafe. I know it's alot of food in one day but since I'm sure the kids wil be more worried about the princesses than the food at PSB I think it'll be OK. My dh suggested the change when I told him about the belly dancers and said that's all you had to say in the 1st place. We're still undecided about the other meal, but leaning toward O'hana. It's a chance to take the monorail and dh really liked the menu, but we're still open to any other suggestions, too. He also liked the menu at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Y&B Club. (Yeah, I know it's not too different but I'm trying to keep him as happy as possible so he'll want to go back again) and also Flying Fish Cafe and the Clambake at Cape May Cafe. Any thoughts on any of those?
Oh, and we ate at LeCellier last time, liked it but he wants to try new resteruants this time. Any they say women are indecisive..... :goodvibes

Flying Fish is great, but it is a "signature" restaurant last I checked and two ts credits per meal. If you're in mk crystal palace is good for kids, we have been going since my kids were toddlers and my 10 year old still wants to go this trip. Don't know if you've tried San Angel Inn in Epcot, people differ on the food but it is fabulous for kids because of the setting and access to the Mexican market and boat ride, its the only other place on my kids' must repeat list for our upcoming trip.

We love Cape May Cafe (for both breakfast & dinner)! We go there sometimes 2x a trip. Always for breakfast and sometimes 2x for dinner. It's a buffet, but they have a good variety and it's casual. I like the steamed spiced shrimp and Oreo Bon Bons! After eating a lot of gourmet dinners..it's a nice kind of "home cooked-type" meal. Haven't tried Flying Fish yet. Maybe on our '07 trip (dining is already planned for '06).

I would definitely recommend Le Cellier at Epcot, that and California Grill at the CR were our favortie two meals when we went 2 months ago. Ohana came in seconds to the two but we really enjoyed that as well. One other option would be Mexico at Epcot. Something at Epcot or one of the monorail resorts would be the most convenient if you will be hopping on the monorail. MK restaurant would be convenient too...but I don't think the selection is as good there.

Ok, DH decided last night around 11pm to do O'hana on Tuesday our open day because he thinks the menu sounds good and he also wants to see the ressort. He also thinks the kids will like it also. ANd thenm of course we switched to Marrakesh on our Epcot day for dinner. My DD wants to see the belly dancer. Of course, none of this is set in stone. We may change our minds ater, but hopefully we're done beacuse I have to start calling today. I love this thread, though. Thanks for all the help!!
