Ned advice on how to celebrate 17 y.o son's B-day in LA!!

We're spending two nights in Hollywood/LA (H & H Renaissance) before our DL trip, during which time my son will celebrate his 17th birthday. I need suggestions for something that might be totally fun for him to do at night: I am sure there must be a really cool restaurant/activity he would like (our days are kind of booked). Anywhere in the LA vicinity is OK by us, we have a car. He's a typical teen, loves sports, TV, games, girls in bikinis etc. TIA!!

Dave and Busters is a fun place to go to, it's a restaurant with a bunch of video games and stuff like that in it. I'm sure they have a location near LA. Check out their website at DaveandBusters.com

Medieval Times California is located just 10 minutes from Disneyland, not sure if he would be into that, but you can go onto their website and get an idea ( medievaltimes.com ) HTH

If he likes Japanese food, Koji's Shabu Shabu restaurant in the H & H center is a lot of fun. You cook your own shabu shabu meal in a boiling pot! The Disney Soda Fountain is across the street from the H & H complex and is a fun place for dessert. Lawry's Prime Rib isn't too far from that area and it is a wonderful dinner!

Universal City Walk has a lot of fun restaurants and shops (and lots of teenage girls!) lol
