Morning guys :goodvibes

We are flying PE both ways at Easter and I am wondering what the chances are of our LO's having a sleep on the flight home? They are not the type of kids that fall asleep anywhere so I don't hold out much hope but wondered if some type of neck pillow might help?!

Does anyone have one they would recommend?

Also, hoping to be in the bubble on the way home, can you lift the arm rest between the two seats so that LO's could put their head on my lap to sleep?

Any advice much appreciated :goodvibes

I bought a microbead pillow for our last trip and it really worked! The beads stop the pillow moving around and is really comfy so for the first time I actually got some sleep on our return flight!

I bought one of the tube ones but there are lots of different types:

Hiya Ali

We have 4 children DS9, DS8, DS5 and DD4.

We have flown PE now to Orlando for the past 3 years and all of our children have always slept a good 5/6 hours on the return flight home.

The seats in PE are more than enough space for a young child to curl up in and sleep and with the pillows and blankets provided by Virgin they have like a little bed once the seat is fully reclined.

Our DD and youngest DS on the last flight home slept from 9pm to landing :cool1:

I have never used the neck pillows as we've always seemed to cope quite well with whats provided on the plane :thumbsup2

Yep, they look good, exactly the type of thing I was thinking of - I wonder which shape would suit the girls best? perhaps the u shaped one might be better for them as it might stay in place better??

Thanks for the info :thumbsup2

Blimey, sounds like you have it sorted :thumbsup2

Can't see it going quite that smoothly for us :lmao: Having said that our last few flights were in UC and I was SO paranoid about trying to keep the girls quiet I think I went a bit 'military' on trying to get them to sleep!!!!!!! Hopefully I will be a bit more relaxed on this trip and they will doze off nicely!!

Thanks for your reply :-)

Ali.

Can't help with the neck cushion but the armrests don't lift on the PE seats. DD is quite good at sleeping in her seat but has laid across me & DH before!
