Hi! I read last night a post about the My Little Pony section of the toy store in DTD where you can stuff a box full for one price. My DD5 will LOVE that! I'm keeping that a surprise. I've also been reading about the new BB Boutique.

What neat "boy" things are there to do? My DS5 LOVES animals so we'll be spending time at AK & will see AK Lodge for him. And I'm hoping to see the Power Rangers at MGM. I saw on TV where you can tour the vet clinic/lab at AK; there's viewing glass so you can see procedures or exams of animals. Does anyone know further details about that?

Somewhere you can stuff a pirate chest full of "treasures". Is that BB Boutique?

My kids will be 6 by the time we go.

Any suggestions or ideas? Very much appreciated!

DTD has a lego store that is great. My 10 year old could of spent the night in there. You can buy pieces and fill a box for 1 price. He also made 3 little men with lots of pieces and put them in a box you can wear around your neck. Also at innovations there is a place where you race a robot and then leave by an area where you can make a robot out of different pieces in different colors. We each made one last year so my son has 3. This is great because it's free. Depending on the line there could possibly be the expense of time.

ENJOY!!!!!

The pirate area is @ World of Disney in Downtown Disney. You can make your own pirate hat or fill a treasure chest..for a price of course.

My kids LOVE the Mr. Potato Head kiosk and always get 2 boxes full each. The robot @ Innoventions is a HUGE hit with the kids, and they play with them every week. The Lego store is also a big hig with the boys as well. BTW, while @ MGM, go to the Honey I shrunk the Kids attraction, they love that too!

at the barber shop and they will shave Mickey in the back of his head. I think it is about $14-$17. When I heard about this I thought this was a cute idea, but I don't think my sons' would go for this. One is 15 and the other is 19. Wish I knew about this when I had control over them! :teeth:

Outside Al's Toy Barn in DS you can meet Buzz, Woody, and the Green Army Man. My son's favorite. :)

How about a Pirate cruise? I've never been able to book it for my DS6 the few times I wasn't already planned to the max, but it sounds really fun. I think there are two of them...one leaves from the GF I think.

I second the Mr. Potato Head thing--it's a favorite stop for us each trip (and the collection is growing way out of hand but I can't wait to get new ones at DL next month)

I have wanted to do the pirate cruise but I think it's kids only is it not? I just don't feel comfortable letting the boys do this alone yet

My boys loved the backstage pass/ name tags that they sell when you get off the rides. They have them from M:S, Dinosaur, Test Track and Buzz Lightyear. They have girls names too, but my boys feel they are pretty cool to wear. The second thing they love is the die cast vehicles they sell that are like the ride cars. The two that are coming to mind are Test Track and Dinosaur.

All the resorts have an arcade and there is one beside Space Mountain as well and boys do love this. However, give him a limit in funds, it goes fast.

my DD also stuffed a velvet bag full of the plastic treasure pieces or stones?? Can't remember at RFC in AK. She also got small plastic animals there too. Can't remember if they were prepackaged or not.

in DTD, the World of Disney store has a whole boy room that is thememd for POTC. That is where you can stuff treasure chests or skulls full of treasure. Very Cool!!! This is also where the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is.
