Nearest Publix to WDW?

Hi everyone,
In preparation for our trip I have started to try and compile our grocery list(yuck).
We will have a rental car and would like to go to Publix since they seem to offer a lot of the vegetarian brands we are used to.
I am not sure if we will stop on the way from the airport or will venture out the day after we arrive.
We are staying at BWV and since it is our first DVC trip I would really like to get a few items to use in our kitchen.
So.. if anyone knows the nearest Publix to BWV I would really appreciate it.

Hi neighbour,
We're at OKW for Xmas and we will be shopping at Goodings, its at the Crossroads, just at the entrance to the Disney Village hotels. We don't have a car this trip so we figure its a $10 cab ride. When we have a car we drive to Publix (much cheaper than Goodings) at 535 and 192 in Kissimee. You go right out of Disney Village hotel area and straight south on 535 almost to the end. Publix is on the right.

There is a Publix behind the Premium Outlet Mall. From Hotel Resorts Blvd, turn right across from Crossroads, then the next left (Vineland). Go about mile to the back of the mall.

Do a google map and zoom in on the WDW area. Type Publix in the search area and it will highlight all the publix. We used one near Xentury drive but next time we'll go to the one near the outlets. I find the area confusing and always forget a map, so we get lost a lot when we're off property. The roads don't seem to go where I think they should, and I'm usually good at finding my way around. Be aware that we found the google map not accurate- so try for a real map or mapquest maybe to verify.

Publix by the Outlets--is that the one off International and pass thru Bryant lake to goet to off of CR-535-Apopka Vineland-that is where we go. It is a fairly new -maybe 4-5yrs. I think. There is an Outback steakhouse across the lot.

I love this Publix. The people there are wonderful. They carry a couple of extras for vactioners. We got a beautiful Disney princess BD cake fro DD there 2 yrs ago and last year as well. comes w/ a cake slicer!
I wish we had Publix in NY!

We were at OKW last week, it took me about 1hr 15 minutes including drive time to go, shop and return.

I found the ONLY accurate map was using the one on Microsoft Streets and Trips.

When we stay at BCV and don't want to drive through all the traffic around DD and the Crossroads, we go to the Publix not too far past POP.

If I remember correctly (I'm the type that can drive there after having been there once but not as good with writing directions), you will take a right out of the BWV and a left at the next stoplight onto Buena Vista Drive (I think that's the name) and then a right at the next stoplight onto Victory Road(?). After you pass POP's entrance, you will make a left at the next stoplight and then a right by Gaylord Palms Resort so that you go in front of GPR. The Publix is on the left just past GPR and before you get to 192. It is really close and not as much traffic. Hope this helps!

The Publix over by the Outlet Mall is probably the closest. It's also the newest at about 3 years old.

The Xentury Publix as mentioned by donmil723 is another possibility.

To get to the PUblix by the Premium Outlet Mall, On the map below, follow the yellow/green line as follows:

Exit BWV, turn left onto Buena Vista Drive
Go past Downtown Disney. Go past the Hotels on hotel row.
At the Crossroads intersection, turn right (move to left hand lane after turning)
Go under I-4 and turn left onto Vineland (at the light)
Follow Vineland as it curves around and passes the Outlet mall (on the right)
Follow Vineland as it curves past Dixie Stampede. Publix will be up ahead on the left.

Alternatively, follow the Green line:

After leaving BWV and getting onto Buena Vista Drive...
Turn right on Epcot Center Drive (This will take you out of WDW)
The Road becomes World Drive. Go past the Marriott World Center which will be on your left.
At the extremely large intersection with traffic lights (World Center and rte 535), continue straight.
Get into left lane and turn left onto International Drive. (Do NOT go straight or you will wind up on expressway)
Follow I-Drive north for a ways. At the outlet mall, (traffic light), turn left to go toward the mall and then turn immediately right into the Publix parking lot.
