Nearby, reliable high-speed internet?

I’m not entirely sure where to post this, so I thought I’d start here. We are staying at AKV this week. My son has to do a final presentation for his internship via Zoom on Thursday. Does anyone have a recommendation as to where he may be able to go (off-site) to do this? Obviously, the room wifi is not going to cut it. Worst-case scenario, he’ll use his phone, but that is less than ideal. Thanks in advance!

Have you actually tried the Wi-Fi in your room during the day?

Hmm a little complex with the most of the Conference resorts tied up with NBA guests but you might call the Swan (407) 934-3000 and ask for the Business center for hours, services and pricing.

The next option would be the Contemporary Business center (run by Richo). I don't have a direct phone number handy but you can call the main Contemporary number (407) 824-1000 and ask for the business center.

Obviously YMMV but I was at Poly and BLT a few weeks ago and did video calls (mainly zoom) daily with no issues. To me, the quiet surroundings/controlled environment of the room were paramount so not much choice in location. I do have a phone hotspot just in case but didn’t need to use it.

Sadly, we can’t do that. We don’t have that as a service and it is too expensive to add. (Although, I guess I could let DS be the judge of that! )

We’re in AKV, so the WiFi is definitely not strong. I think he’s going to check closer to the lobby. But, I also appreciate your other suggestions!
