I am having a Disney borders class at my house next week. My Creative Memories consultant is making up kits for us to work from. You will take home a load of completed borders and journaling boxes. If you interested let me know. I will get you costs and date/time info.

Cindy, I don't live near you, but if you have a cost for the items, please send mea pm. Once I start working on Disney pages, I was even thinking of using some Disney pins as embellishments ! I look forward to hearing from you.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I just joined the ranks of "scrapbookers"! I swore I would not get into this hobby, but my daughter just had a party, and I decided to at least do an albulm of all our Disney vacations!

So, I don't live near you either, but can you explain what you will be doing, and I might be interested like Judith and purchasing as well, if that can be arranged.

Oh Ruthie! You are in for it now! You cannot just do your Disney trips. What about that precious granddaughter? and all those photos in those awful magnetic type albums? I speak from experience since all my photos are out of those old albums (& waiting to be scrapped!). And wait until you see your LSS (local scrapbook store) - you can buy sb (scrapbook) items locally instead of waiting until you go to WDW . Come on over to the sb section of the disboards. We'll hook you, Ruthie!

..........believe it or not I was thinking about you at our Creative Memories party, and even told a story about you, and how your addiction switched from pins to scrappbooking!! I didn't even know there was a scrapbooking board--I'll try to check it out!

Is that why my ears have been burning!? Oh Ruthie! You are going to be so hooked! Wait until you see ALL teh Disney sb itesm out there - CM is just a drop in the bucket! Want to take a field trip with me (to visit sb stores) ?

First off welcome ruthie to the wonderful world of cropping How wonderful that you will now be making keepsakes for your children to cherish forever. Ok...ya da da ya da da I was getting all gooey and mushy......Too cool!!!! glad to hear you have joined us.

Hi to you once again Judith...its been awhile since we typed each other.

Ok now for the info....the class is a creative Memories sponsered event. The cost is $20 and you make quite a few Disney borders and journaling boxes. We will not work on our books , but will make a bunch of new items to place in them. The idea is you just pop a border on a page, mat your pix, add a journaling box and voila....page done. I have 10 girls attending so far each with past or future disney trips in mind. I am hoping for some great borders. Unfortunately I have not seen them as of yet so I have no idea what to expect.
