NCL travel agent?

Does the sponsored travel agent on this board book NCL cruises also?

Not too sure about the travel agent but I do have a lot of experience booking thru NCL with their cruise planners! They are great and we have always gotten a good deal. We did the Getaway in Feb and it was fabulous! From my experience, NCL doesn't really have too many "sales" but they do offer free upgrades and onboard credits. Let me know if you need help with anything for an NCL cruise; the dining and activities can be a bit overwhelming if you are on a bigger ship!

We are currently booked on a 14 day vacation to Alaska (7 days land and 7 days sea) on the Norwegian Sun. We will have a "guaranteed" inside cabin leaving from Whittier on Aug. 25. What are the chances of the "good fairy" giving us an upgrade since we are booked thru a travel agency? We won't know where our cabin is until a week or so before the trip.

No mention was made of On Board Credits when we booked the trip. Would it be worthwhile calling the travel agency and requesting both an upgrade and on-board credits.????

Not sure about Dreams Unlimited, but Costco Travel books NCL cruises, often at a discount. You need your membership number to see the discounted prices.

I'm doing the Sun in June from Whittier with a Landcruise before. When we booked we got a GTY family OV with the free upgrade to a Balc GTY. We got our room assignment a few weeks before final payment was due, so you may luck out and get it sooner, though they can hold off until the day of sailing.

Keep checking back on your own on the NCL site for price drops and also any bonuses such as OBC that may be offered. As long as you are not past final payment you can get those perks and any drop in price. However, because you booked through a TA you will have to call them to get it. NCL will not deal directly with you as a TA is handling you res. Right now on the Aug 25th sailing they are offering a $25 OBC for an inside cabin.

Also if you have not already done so go to cruisecritic.com and check out the Alaska and NCL boards. Also look for a roll call board for you particular cruise.
