I know there have been several threads already discussing this, but let's keep this one until the end of season 4.

Programming information - for the next two week the show will be on from 8:30-10 Eastern.

Now let's discuss last nights episode. It was a doozie wasn't it?

How did you feel about Amy switching trainers? I felt she was justified because last week it sounded like Kim wanted her to go. When the red team went to elimination Kim pleaded with the team to make their own decision and not go to a tie vote. She also seemed to suggest that strategically Amy would be the logical person to vote off. This is playing the game and Amy did not want to hear it. Of course they had a tie vote and the Blue team sent Phil, their biggest threat, home.

Speaking of playing the game - 17 pounds in one week!! Neil, you dog. That is really playing the game. What did you guys think about that move? I really hated it. I hope Neil is sent home as soon as possible. I was shocked that he was not voted off last night. I believe the two team that voted Jez off had a heavy blue influence that wanted Neil to stay.

I am really looking forward to seeing how this scheme affects how everyone interacts with Neil next week. Bob was very disappointed with him. Will Bob train him next week? Did all the blue players support his actions? I just hope he is gone very soon.

Some have suggested that this could set him up for a big loss next week, but I wonder if that is what he wants. He wants Isabeau gone too. Will he pull the same thing next week? Should the producers step in and prevent this practice? What do you think?

WOW what an episode.

Have a healthy day!

I think Amy's really obnoxious. Neil-good for him on making that move! The black team was getting way too cocky anyways. :confused3

I thought it was poor sportsmanship. I know it is a game, but I still would prefer it be played differently. I also thought Amy was justified. I don't really care for her, but I definitely saw her point. I also think that in the past couple of weeks Kim has been obnoxious. It appears to me that she is a bit jealous of Jillian.

I was astonished with Neil, but let's not forget Matt back in the day had a week where he gained on purpose as well.

I haven't been a fan of Kim as a trainer at all, I know if I had been on her team and had a chance to try out the other trainers, boy would I! I love Bob and Jillian so I would definitely want to see how they could push me.

Last night's episode sure was shocking

I just watched my TIVOed BL, wow, it seems like the changes really threw everybody for a loop!

My DD thinks Amy is kinda whiney, but I think she was justified in going to Jillian. Kim really hurt her feelings last week. Plus, I really thought she'd lose more, with a shake up in her training.

I was disgusted with Neil "playing the game" like that. I mean, even Matt only gained a few. This was so obvious! I understand the politics of it, but it just doesn't seem fair that Jez went. Can you imagine drinking 2 gallons of water!

Is it just me, or are you having a hard time getting into this season? I can't figure out if it's because there's 3 teams, so less time is spent on the individuals & their training. I just know that in seasons past, I was totally tuned in, now it's just okay to watch. Although I loved Jilliam coming back this season!

I really thought that what Neil did was low:sad2: I can see "playing the game" but that was really bad. I have really liked the black team, and I do like Jillian better than Kim. Amy, well, she is whiny, but I could see why she would be uncomfortable with Kim after she wanted to get rid of her!

I know that people are "loyal" to their original team and it is a game, but drinking 2 gallons of water right before weigh in seems cheesy!

I don't care for a few of the players, but I think that with more teams, the dynamic is different. So you don't get to know the players as well as in previous seasons.

I was sad to see Jez go, but he has done really well since he left!!! I hope that one of the girls can win, maybe Kae has a chance.

I can't stand Amy - she really needs an attitude adjustment. She seems like the type to get in your face and start waving her finger and yelling. I keep hoping every week she gets kicked off.

Neil! Geez...this was the one week I didn't want Amy kicked off! What he did was more than "playing the game". He should have been sent home. Jez looks really good though when we saw him during his at home interview! I really liked him...I thought he had a great outlook on things.

I think what Neil did was awful. Now, I have a question. He admitted to throwing the results. Next week, when he doesn't drink 2 gallons of water, will the 17 pound loss count? If so, that is bogus. I feel sorry for Isabeau. She is still stuck on that team with him. As for Amy, I think she made a good move going to Jillian, but I find her annoying.

Yep, the loss will count. That's what's happened in the past.

While I may not have done what Neil did in a sense of morality - it is a game so I am not upset about that part. As another poster said - Matt did it - but he was completely honest after the weigh in. Didn't he also have immunity so he was doing it to post a big loss the next week - not to get someone else booted off? Bottom line is he didn't lie to all of his fellow players and promise that he hadn't done it on purpose like Neil did. That is my problem and it is disgusting. Jez went home as part of the game, but Neil has now shown himself as a LIAR.

Amy is a bit whiny for my taste - but I am not sure I could keep working out with Kim after her comments to the team. And at least Amy brought them up to her. I think Kim was a little crazy with the "Disrespect" comments and never really owned up to what she said about Amy. I had little opinion about Kim and it keeps getting littler. I sure hope Amy can put up a big number this week and keep herself motivated. I don't know how I would handle the pressure of the show and drama. I might come off a little whiny myself. I take that into consideration with my opinions of Kim and Amy - there is an editing factor. But they didn't "edit" Neil into lying to his fellow contestants.

Another great episode last night. :happytv: Lots of drama. So Amy threw the weigh in too, huh. She posted a big number last night so hopefully working with Jillian will help her. I really wish Neil would go, but 33 pounds in one week, well we know 17 of which was last weeks water. But Bob rode him hard all week, and I guess that paid off for Neil.

I really like Kae, and I can see why she might want to quit "the game" but I think she has the potential to win if she just concentrates on herself. Did anyone else notice that both Bob and Jillian were telling there teams that they need to work on themselves and not "play the game" but Kim was all about playing the game. Funny how there is now only 2 members of the original red team left and one won't train with her anymore:confused3

I think David was a nice guy and class act when he left. He has done so well since going home too.

Looking forward to next weeks show-love the drama!!

Okay, I shouldn't have come to this thread, but couldn't help it.
Now I'm off to watch last nights episode.:rolleyes1

I didn't see that one coming. I thought they wanted to get rid of black, so I thought Holly would go. She really dodged the bullet!

Kae really is the biggest threat for the women. I think she just looks so sad now. It's really a shame!

I was surprised Amy listened to Neil. What was she thinking!

I wonder if they're going to change the game again soon!

Don't they compete as individuals eventually? Maybe that's next week. They are advertising that they are going green, not electric machines, all green shirts. Maybe at that point they will be individuals?

I watch this show for inspiration so what Neil did was garbage. If I want to see that kind of deception, I would watch Survivor. I want to see him go. I can't stand it when that kind of behavior is rewarded so I pray that he doesn't go all the way. I would much prefer that they work hard and win or lose on their own merits. I much prefer to feel good after watching rather than be disgusted. I don't mind game playing and maneuvering but out and out deception a different story.

I can't stand Kim. I think Amy did the right thing by going with Jillian. Someone needs to teach Kim that a trainer can be demanding without being demeaning. I loved it when Cowboy walked out on her last week in the middle of her tyrade. There is no way I would have taken that from her either. She crossed the line. Jillian is tough and she gets results. Has anyone else noticed how Bob and Jillian celebrate their teams successes with them while Kim can hardly manage to clap?

I missed the part last night about who else threw the weigh in. I was flipping between BL and DWS. Can anyone enlighten me on details? And what did Amy listen to Neil about?

1. Before the 3 teams were divided into trios the blue and red teams made a pack to do everything they could to get rid of all the black team. Neil in his infinite wisdom decided to drink a lot of water before the weigh in to show a gain and force his team to lose the weigh in. This plan was revealed last week. Last week Amy posted a gain and this week we found out why. Neil also convinced her to do the same thing to hurt her trio.

2. My tvguide online show spoilers say that next week will be the last week as trios, the following week the game goes to individual competitors.

Didn't Neil sound so sorry for his scheming? He wants everyone to forgive him and trust him. I would never trust him again. I hope he is voted off as soon as possible.

The won CARS!!! WOW! How cool was that! I thought it was interesting that they went "green" and still did good. I was so glad that Kae wasn't below the yellow line.

I meant to post up here the other day, but got sidetracked (not hard to do) and forgot.

So, can I tell you how much I really dislike Neil? He talks up his "blue team sticking together" bit, then votes off Ryan!! I really hope he gets voted off soon. I would think that they would be going to indivuduals soon from duos. I was happy for Julie that she won the car, that was very cool. I have really liked the black team players, but I can see where now it is going to get more difficult everyone to stay loyal to their team.

I *think* that maybe the ladies will try to get rid of the remaining men (Neil, Bryan and Bill) and have the first female winner. Then you would see some sparks fly, if it is only girls left!!!

I can't stand Kim. I think Amy did the right thing by going with Jillian. Someone needs to teach Kim that a trainer can be demanding without being demeaning.

Very well said...

Mason? Love visiting that area. My son and I go to Kenwood quite often for weekend get-a-ways.

I'm glad Amy went home tonight. She always seemed to be crying, cussing, or saying "I want to go home". It made me mad that she said Isabeau was not to be trusted, when she (Amy) has ran her mouth all season! I just hope nobody is mean to Isabeau next week over her decision!

I think it is awesome that Bill got to his 100 pound mark! What an accomplishment!!

Kae is such a hard worker! She doesn't let any of those temptations
sway her! She has her eye on her goal and doesn't waver from it! I admire that about her! I could use more of that in my journey!!
