Exactly. Without him the Suns played horribly.

Yep. He might be able to put up 50points for games on end but that doesnt mean he is worthy of MVP.
With out him the Lakers would be a decent team.

Seriously, they don't really have anybody, other than Kobe. I know a kid who always says, "the Lakers suck, but Kobe rules".
