Is the Navi'i River Journey worth a FastPass+ or is it doable without?

It still has a long wait, but it's no where near as long as FoP. If you have a fastpass for FoP, already, I'd say try and rope drop NRJ.

Depends on what time of the day you will be there and want to ride it and more importantly what other attractions you have planned for the day. If you arent planning on doing Flight of Passage then yes, its definitely worth it because a FP+ reduces wait time and thats a good thing.

I agree with PPs. If you want to do FoP, definitely get that FP+.
For our November trip, I have 3 FoP FP+ and none for NRJ. I feel like we'll want to ride FoP more than once, and NRJ just once.
My plan is to arrive at 9 for AK. That way, the FoP hordes will already be there, and we can have a leisurely walk to NRJ. I figure it will be about 20 minutes at that point, and that sounds great to me!

Thanks for the advice everyone.
Didn’t really want to sacrifice a FOP FP if it wasn’t worth it, so will do as you’ve suggested and hang on to those and head to the River Journey at rope drop for standby.

I just got back from our trip. End of the night is also good for NRJ. We wanted to ride it a second time, so got in line at 8:20pm (9pm closing) - wait was listed as 50 minutes but it only took us 25 minutes from getting in line to walking out of the ride. I loved NRJ and would have ridden it several more times if I'd had the chance
