Would like some info on the navigator veranda's, how obstructed
is the view? is there a big differance between this and the regular veranda? and which room number is the best if any? thanks
We had a navigator's Verandah on our 2nd Disney cruise. There is a bench on one wall a chair and small round table on the other. There are nautical instruments on the walls. The large port hole is in the center. It is like being in a small private sitting area with a port hole. Yes, it is very different from a regular verandah as it is enclosed around you. I had to stand to see out of the port hole but, You could pull a chair up in front of the port hole and look out.
We had a navigators verandah on one of our cruises, and I really liked it. It was very cozy and private, and they are located aft, which is my favorite area of the ship. The Wonder's have a different shaped opening (a little larger) than the Magic's. I think that these are really neat staterooms!

Something I've always wondered about the nav. verandahs.. is the porthole open-air? Because if it's just glass I couldn't justify paying for a balcony when all I get is a window. But if you can open the porthole then I can see the difference in price.
