Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

Thanks for the feedback. It did not work... It's weird, when I log in with my wife's account, it works ok... When I log in with mine, it mis-renders...

It is even mis-rendering when I use the browsers on my mobile phone (not using the app)... This seems tied to my account specifically and not a browser.

Following up on this one... I spoke for about 30 minutes with folks in IT and they are completely befuddled. As was stated above by someone else this is a CSS rendering issue. However, it is only having a problem rendering with my account. If I log on with my wife's account, the page looks normal and fine.

With mine 'About Me' page, it still renders partially and with no CSS rendering at all. It does not allow me to access information about My Affiliations, which is where the link is to renew my AP online.

This happens with Chrome, FireFox, IE on multiple laptops and also using my mobile browser. Again, my wife's account is not impacted.

Anyway, I sent IT the code to try and figure it out by they had no clue why this was only impacting my account. Very strange.
 
Hello. I am divorced with daughter that I had just bought an Annual Pass for and used 2 weeks ago at Disney World. Her mother is taking her in a week and would like to add her to her My Disney Experience account to make Fastpasses for them. The problem is I can't find a way to add her to her mother's account since I control the ticket for her. If she was an adult with her own account her mother could invite her but there seems to be no way to do this for a child. This was never a problem with paper fastpasses and tickets now it is. I can't believe Disney didn't think of being able to link kids to another account for divorced families. Heck even if I was taking her friends with annual passes this would be an issue. There should be a temporary way add other kids with annual passes to another MDE accounts when they travel with other adults. UGH!! If anyone has had an experiences like this please help. Thank you in advance.

I am having a similar problem. My husband I have our accounts linked but he can't see our daughters ticket on his end which in turn means he can't do fast passes for her and we hit our 60 days tomorrow. He tired just adding the ticket to her account for him (he can see her just not the ticket) but it says it is in use. Any thoughts?

Go back to your Family & Friends list and select 'Add a Guest' again. It should show you a list of people that are either friends of your friends or profiles that are managed by your friends.

If you don't see your SIL family, she may need to change the setting that allows others to see her friends (at bottom of Family & Friends page).

Of all of the friends I've added, they have not needed to invite me after they accepted the request I sent. Any of us can make plans for the others with no issues.

I think this may have been an earlier requirement - it was quite a while ago when we did it, and my wife and I had to invite each other. I think your previous post is the more current thing that needs to be done (which I didn't need to do before).

If you both had added the other as a managed profile and then wanted to connect accounts, you would probably have needed to invite both ways.

So....Do I assume that my hard ticket (MNSSHP) was taken into account to deny me this night or are the FP+ tickets based on "regular park hours" ?? :confused3 & NOT HAPPY!!!:faint:

FP+ is not used during EMH (am or pm) or hard ticket events.

Party tickets do not seem to enable FP+ access, nor really should they, as there is no FP+ during parties. Technically, the ticket isn't good until 7pm, but they _allow_ you in at 4pm.
 
I should add that last year they didn't WANT people linking their party tickets to magicbands, and that the cards still needed to be used to get in. Don't know if that has changed this year.
 
We linked our party ticket to our magic bands last year and used them to get in with no problem.

There are many reports of people getting access to FP+ with party tickets this year. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3318380

ETA: This year our party tickets were automatically linked to the magic bands when I ordered them, so no choice there.

I have an AP and have linked my sister to the MDE. I have successfully made FP+ ressies for "me" but cant for my sister because she will be using an "old" (80's) ticket.

((I have many, about 4-5 now, unused old tickets hanging around and actually give them to the family because they cant afford to go otherwise.))

So.... Should I just buy her a "new" ticket so I can link her to the same FP+ ressies as mine....then....take my "old" ones with me to have them hopefully re-done with the new RFID for future use?? :confused3

Also...if you dont mind the question....How would I link her to my FP+ ressie?? :confused3

On our last trip I took several old tickets and they easily converted them to the new style ticket. It took a little time, but wasn't difficult.

In order to pre-book, you'll need to get a new ticket. Converting the old tickets isn't generally a problem, but a little time consuming, and they can only be done at the parks/GR locations, so you wouldn't be able to register them in MDX beforehand.

If your MDX accounts are properly linked and both have tickets assigned, then you should be able to select her when making FP+ reservations. If you've already made yours, there is a way to copy yours to hers, although I haven't done it myself to tell you where to do it.
 
I apologize if this question has already been asked, I haven't gone through all of the posts.

My issue is with making an online payment.

When I go to "My Disney Experience" from either my laptop (Safari) or desktop (Windows) and click on "My Reservations and Tickets" it shows my hotel information with check in and check out dates, my dining plan, but it doesn't show a balance or a "make payment" button.

Even when I click on "View Details" and wait a few seconds as it was suggested previously, it still doesn't give me an option to make a payment or view balance.

I've always been able to pay online with my previous reservations, not sure why it's not giving me the option with this specific reservation. It isn't a temporary glitch, as it's been this way from the time I made the reservation and paid the deposit in May.

Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, is there a workaround?
