Anyone do the Nautilus excursion on Grand Cayman?

I saw the pics on their website and it looks really cool. You can either go up a deck and be outside or down a deck and see underwater. You can even privately book it. Showed it to DH and DD and they seemed to think it was nice also.

Anyone been there, done that, and is it as nice as it looks?

TIA

Joanna

What was the website? That sounds like something we would like to do.

Patches...I just bumped up the thread with the Nautilus link. It is titled excursions for 8 yr olds. Seaspray posted a few links on it.

Hope you like it

Hi Joanna :)

I'll go look on another web site where I found real pictures and people's reviews on this excursion, then I'll come back and post the links here. This looks like a fun excursion! Do you think you'll do the regular excursion, or the one that also lets you snorkel while you're on the boat?

EDIT:

Ok, here's the person's review and then a link to their pictures.

"Nautilus Semi-submarine - This tour was excellent. Their website is: www.nautilus.ky. We have taken a similar tour in Cancun and Maui and there is no comparison. The sub was much bigger and more spacious and offered restrooms. The viewing was great with the clear water. We were the only people on the tour and received excellent personalized attention. The sub goes over two ship wrecks and then to Cheeseburger Reef. The reef has lots and lots of coral and fish. The crew stopped the sub at the reef and one dove in the water with scuba gear and lured fish to the window for us to see with bread. Then we were able to snorkel with the diver, who then put on snorkel gear. He would guide fish over to us and one of crew still on the boat toss bread directly in front of us so we could see the fish up close. It was a great experience."

Thanks Seaspray for the pics. We will probably do the regular excursion, I haven't asked my family about the snorkeling one, but that can change and we are still 8 months out and as we type DH is snow blowing me out so I can go to work.:(

Seaspray...Are you also looking into this excursion and if so, which one are you planning on.
