In my few short months with a DSLR, I'm starting to get the feeling the answer is no.Well here's hoping that Mrs. Y cuts you some slack this year.Naughty, so I guess Santy won't be putting that new D300 in my stocking.

- 105mm Micro
- 10.5 mm Fisheye
- Sigma 10-20mm (newly added to my list - thanks, Quicklabs!)
- D90 body
- Sturdier tripod
- New monitor (another thing I'll be getting myself)
- External hard drive

Well here's hoping that Mrs. Y cuts you some slack this year.

Guilt is something for the other person to feel...Actually, MrsY *strongly* encouraged me to pull that trigger and I did so, about a month ago. Felt guilty and returned it to B&H the next day. How dumb is that???

You have probably know this better than I do, but just in case you haven't been there, www.strobist.org is normally cited as the source for all wisdom on getting good lighting out of flashguns.

Well, x-mas wont have much for me under the tree this year (nor for DW for that matter).
We just spent $800 to add soundproof walls to the bedroom we're moving into. Then my Corolla needed $1400 in repairs this week. The mini-van will need $800 or so in repairs in the spring. We also need to buy a new dining room table.
If I even think of mentioning something for my photography hobby DW will either laugh at me and walk away or I'll get smacked for being dumb. Though I may be able to get a magazine. Maybe even one of the UK mags. You know, the $12 ones.
) and I swore it was going to either A. be something hundreds upon hundreds of dollars or B. be a complete piece of junk and I needed a new car. The second happened after eating a runt (one of those hard fruit shaped candies) at our office Halloween party. I broke a molar up to the nerve while eating a banana and it'll be about $600 out of my pocket that dental insurance won't cover.
All because of a piece of compacted sugar.
