I'm currently using a more natural deodorant, and it's just not cutting it. Any suggestions?
I prefer stick deodorant, and a more neutral scent. And I don't want to smell like a hippie.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Toms? I have used a bunch of different kids of natural deodorant and they all work fine for me so I am not sure if this is any better then the rest but I like it.

I was also going to suggest Tom's. A bit pricey if not on sale, but they have a whole line of natural products! We use Tom's toothpaste, and like it!

The thing is that a natural deodorant will not control wetness. It controls odor, so you will still sweat just not smell. From what I understand, the ingredient in most deodorants that stop wetness is what is supposed to be bad for you.

It's really difficult to find a natural, good deodorant. I used Tom's of Maine for awhile but I think I must have come across something that made me stop using it. So I tried Kiss My Face brand for awhile, and that was okay during the winter but when it started getting warm it wasn't getting the job done. So I recently switched to Desert Essence brand made with tea tree oil and so far that seems to work the best. Like a PP said, the aluminum ingredient is the antiperspirant and that's whats bad, so you will sweat with natural deodorants but I'm willing to deal with that.

The best part is that it's a secret...shhhh

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Yes, I'm currently using a deodorant only (no antiperspirant). It's my second tube, and I have noticed a difference - I do sweat more, but before, I didn't stink. It's getting warmer out, and yeah, now I stink. This is why I'm looking to switch to a different one.

The aluminum is what I was looking to get away from. I've read articles that links aluminum to Alzheimers.

When I used regular deodorant, I'd have to switch brands up every once in a while with that too. I don't know if it's my body gets used to it, or what, but I guess I'll have to continue the switching it up... I used to switch between Degree, Secret, Almay, and Right Guard (yes, I used a men's deodorant).

The ones I was thinking of trying now are Soapwalla (creme, not stick), Meow,Meow, Tweet (also a creme, not stick), Junglewoman (seriously, that's the name of it)... Now add your suggestions. I'll check out the natural stores in my area and see if any of your suggestions are carried in stock. If not, I'll have to order online.

Thanks!!!
