National - surcharge fees

I was checking National for rental rates. I put in the 'priceless' code & the total estimate did not have the concession fee Recov. chrg 9.8 pct. --- the Emerald Isle total estimate has this fee. Any idea why one would have it & not the other? It made a difference of $13.00. Any problems using the 'priceless' code, do you need to so any I.D. for it???

I used the priceless code in May with no problem. For some reason, the priceless code starts with 6 instead of 5, which I believe is a corporate code. My company used to have a corporate code and we didn't pay the 9.8% tax.

priceless vacations has a contract with national that seems to take off the concession fee, not only in orlando but other places....( las vegas being another one where we have seen the concession fee dropped )

so it is like getting " an additional discount" + 10% off with the code

usually the base rate for priceless is a lil better too...

do not know if their website is working now...last time i checked it was not, but anyone can or could sign up for free membership with priceless vacations ( no membership card issued )

we have never been asked for anything with respect to using this code in any of the rentals in which we have used the code to get the "best" price
