Mine just dropped 20.00. I am using the old DC code plus a 20.00 coupon from BJs. total rate 156.75 for 7 days EA.

I tried to modify my original reservation and it did not change, so, I just cancelled that one and rebooked.

Just a heads up.

also, Alamo has some nice rates using the BJ's discount code and the 15.00 coupon.

My dates are late Jan to early Feb.

Thanks Gail,

Your information just saved me $25.00 on a nine day rental in December. I just made a new reservation and did a cancel to the first one. I am using the AARP rate and the $20.00 Entertainment coupon. Boy this board has now saved me money twice. (Saved an extra $8.00 a ticket for the Universal bonus passes with information that was passed along last week).
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I've been out of town for a week. I saw your note, so I went in and just viewed my Dec 27th reservation, and it went down by itself without me changing anything. A 5 day rental with National Emerald Aisle went from $238.83 to $165.30...I printed that in a hurry. I had originally used DC and Entertainment $15....
I will keep checking back.

I just checked my dates and I'm getting $361 w/taxes & fees for a 5 day rental for full size ER and $345 for intermediate EA w/taxes & fees. Both including old DC discount and $15 off with Vacation Outlet coupon. I'm getting a weekly rate instead of a daily one which is what I have already booked. Boy does that make my $217 look alot better!

Glad to hear some of you are getting better rates though, not that I'm not jealous or anything.;)

I came up with 254.94 for an Emerald Aisle Intermediate 2/3-2/12. Is that okay? I haven't rented a car in many years and have no clue what is a good/bad rate. (I'm not a member of DC, AARP, AAA, or BJ's and I don't have an entertainment book.)

(That is including taxes and fees)

It might be a bit high, but, there are codes you can use from www.mousesavers.com

Thanks, Gail. I did try most of the mousesavers codes, but I'll keep trying and keep checking!
