I currently have a ressie with National for May 16-20 using EA contract ID and a BJs coupon - $175.90. However, I did some clicking :surfweb: and realized with the $40 coupon recieved via email, I can get a ressie from May 16-22 for $157.90. (the coupon states something about a minimum of 5 day rental required).

So, my question is, does anyone know if I will incur any penalty charges if I drop the car off 2 days earlier? :confused3

The last time we rented from National, they didn't even ask us for the coupon (although I had it with me).

The code is an email code, no coupon to print out. If you don't keep the car for 4+ days you will be charged at the higher rate. You can't get a 3 day rental using the 5 day rental code. My rental is 4 1/2 days so I get the rate.
The $40 off code has a minimum 5 day rental...If your rental is 4 1/2 days you qualify because it is gt 4 24 hour periods.
If I rent for less than 4 1/2 days I try to use the weekend coupon.
Valid for the rental of a Compact through Luxury car, Minivan, SUV or Convertible.
Offer valid for rentals picked up by 6/27/07.
3-day minimum rental required.
Offer valid at participating U.S. locations.

Thank you, shoes99. I definitely will not be using the car for more than 4 24 hour periods. I tried the coupon you listed, but the rate I previously had was still lower. I guess I'll stick with my current ressie, and I'll keep checking back.

Thanks, again.
