National rental Deals for Jan 2012?

I've plugged all my resources in and so far no luck, yet. Anyone have a good deal pop up? Thanks

There are no advance booking deals out there. I've been watching, and watching and the only deals I've seen are the last minute ones. I'm watching for August, October and January and so far nothing. Heck I can't even get coupons to work for August and I contacted National who said that their quota to accept coupons for August has been filled....which to me means, keep trying. Good luck, but I do travel in January every year and often find the best prices during January.

I'm renting in late-December and found the Car and Driver code to be the best:

Try either Corporate Codes 3715444 or XVC1092 (both Car and Driver)

Also try the Costco Corporate Code if you're a Costco member: CSTCX8

Also, many Enterprise Rent-A-Car Corporate Codes will work with National

There aren't any coupons out yet, but you can always cancel and book again if a better deal comes along before your trip, so it doesn't hurt to make a reservation now and keep checking back.
