National question

I checked National to see if prices have gone down for our van. It came up no vehicles available pick another class. My question is, if we are getting in Friday, Oct. 8 for a noon p/u of our van, will they hold one? I don't want an upgrade at we are driving up to S.C. for a wedding for the weekend and need the room and don't want the extra expense of a large vehicles gas milage. Do they guarentee a van or will we possibly get stuck with an upgrade? This will be Columbus day weekend and we don't belong to Emerald club.

We are having the same problem. I joined the Emerald Club and attempted to reserve a car starting Oct 8th, from Orlando Internation. I am getting the same statement I have gone into their site and was able to reserve a car not using the Emerald Club, however I could not get any discounts.

I ran in to this a few months ago when trying out different discount codes. It could be possible that there are no vehicles available with the discount codes you are trying???? just a guess.

Alamo and National share the same fleet, so they will have the car you reserved.
