National New Fees?!

I reserved a car YESTERDAY for $169.68 and today I looked & it's now $186.89...the difference is "Landlord Concession Fee Recovery"?! It wasn't there yesterday...anyone else notice it on their reservations?

My confirmation email did say "Approximate Estimated Conversion" but I used National last year & never had any issues w/my reservation price??

Just curious if anyone knows about this....it does state what the Fee is for (overhead), but just thought it was odd...

Did you use contract No. 6600330?

If so, it may not put it on immediately, but eventually, it will be added back in.

Do not use Contract ID 6600330 anymore. For years this code worked to waive various fees on your rental, which could save you a lot. Now National has decided this was an error and is ADDING the fees to the rental, even if they don't appear on your confirmation.

Hi Ed-
Actually, no, I didn't use that code because I did see the notice on mousesavers!! Is anyone else seeing this fee? Also, I forgot to mention that I will be picking up/dropping off the car at the Car Care Center so I don't know if it makes a difference??
