Any plans tonight??

We are staying home. I have a few fireworks that we will go pop in the back yard in a little while. Then I guess I will be in and out of the Dis for the rest of the night. Woo-hoo!! That either means I'm really cool or really lame. I haven't decided yet.

We are staying home. I have a few fireworks that we will go pop in the back yard in a little while. Then I guess I will be in and out of the Dis for the rest of the night. Woo-hoo!! That either means I'm really cool or really lame. I haven't decided yet.

Nope. Still recovering from the month of December. I took a 4 hour nap yesterday and fell asleep for about 45 minutes after going out to CPK for lunch.

I say you're really cool because that's probably what I'll be doing tonight.

Shopping for clothes is a good thing!! I have been trying to get a sweater or 2 for each of us with each pay day. I still need jeans. Plus, I guess we should pack a pair of shorts or 2 for each of us. Last time it was so cold when we got there but by the time we left it was HOT.

Okay, so I just did the cheater's version of your PTR so far *followed the links* and I'm so glad I did..your family is so cute! Woohoo for a new bag..I love purses, but I'm very picky. I loooove your countdown calendar, I think I'm going to steal the idea..put the pictures in and the mickey heads over them, then let Piper help do the numbering and the rest of the decorating! I'm going to have to look into the Polar Express train ride next year, it's one of our fave movies, and I know Piper would love it! So cool that you've gotten to meet so many people on your trips.

I'm with Jordan..you're definitely cool..I stayed at home as well, Piper was determined to make it up til midnight tonight, and she did..we munched on snacks and played games with me taking a couple of forays into disland!

Steal away on the calendar idea. DS and I had so much fun making it together. I love having projects that we can do as a team.

The polar express ride was really neat. We all had a good time. Even DH in his PJ's!! He gave me a hard time on that one.

DS fell asleep 15 minutes before midnight. I sooo woke him up 5 minutes before so he could do the countdown. He loved it! Then went right back to sleep.

I like the dark wash too. It's what I'm getting. Goes with more stuff. Really I should be thinking about shoes! All I have is tennis shoes as far as comfortable "warm-ish" shoes. All my boots have heels and I'm NOT doing that. I'd make it into our "what were they thinking" files. Plus, I like my feet too much.

So today we had cabin fever and really needed to get out of this house. I went out and about and found a couple of sweaters and a pair of shoes. I needed another pair of shoes besides my Nikes to wear. I hope what I got will be comfortable enough for walking around the parks all day!

For starters, I shopped online a bit. I had a $10 gift card that I had gotten at Sears while doing my Christmas shopping this year. I was checking out and the cashier tells me I was selected by the computer to recieve a free gift card. Ummmmm.......OK!!! So today I finally used it. I found a Mickey hoodie and a cute little Mickey T-shirt online at Sears.....

While I was out and about today I found a couple of cheap sweaters at Target! Not Disney but cute....

I also got some long sleeve t-shirts that I will be able to layer under the sweaters or maybe even under a short sleeve t-shirt.

I still have the Mickey polo's from years past. I have a red one, a navy one, and a pink one. The pink one for some reason ends up being the one I am wearing during every Dis meet. I absolutely DO NOT plan this and actually find it sort of embarrassing. I didn't even realize it until I got home and looked at the pictures. I'm considering leaving the pink polo at home along with the gray disney hoodie that I'm always wearing over it. That way I don't end up AGAIN at a meet wearing the same thing!!

I think I'm good on shirts/sweaters for our trip. I need about 2 more pair of jeans and then I'm done as far as clothes for me. I need to try on my capri pants from this summer and see if they still fit. I have to pack something for warmer weather. Last year it was freezing when we got there and HOT on our last day or 2 and we had no shorts!

Next shopping spree will be for DS. He needs sweaters and long sleeve shirts. He is good on jeans and shoes. Thank goodness.

DH said he is good on everything but I know better than that. He will change his mind at the last minute. That's why I like to have mine and DS's shopping done in advance.

Very cute hoodie and t-shirt, I really like the vintage Mickey stuff! Now you have a new gray hoodie you can wear for your meets! Sorry, couldn't resist! It is much different than the other one. I think our shopping is done, I still need to prob find another pair of shoes though, I have some sneaks to take, my crocs are so worn out though it isn't even funny..the tread is worn off the bottom...lol. My rels know about my shoe fetish and feed it on holidays..I love it. I also love the coordinating outfit you and ds are wearing in the one pic! Very cute...
