Your pictures are beautiful! We're staying at POFQ for the first time this trip. I think it's the perfect place to stay for Mardi Gras. We'll feel right at home. I'm looking forward to walking around at Port Orleans too.

Ya'll are going to love the PO resorts! You can also schedule a horse carriage ride around PO Riverside for about $35. We had a good time doing that.

Your resort pics got me all teary...sigh...I want to go so much....keep thinking with the great rates, there must be a way to get down even for 4 ngts.

Awww, keep your eye out. There are always good deals to be had. Right now you can book and get a free gift card from $300 up to $750!!! I'm sure once that deal is over it will either be extended or they will come out with something new.

I don't think I'm organized enough to have two reports going at once. I meant to post some PTR on my current trip report. My 45 day window is tomorrow and I guess until I hit that day and don't cancel it really won't feel real. We're thinking about not going and redoing the kitchen.

We finished our kitchen remodel earlier this year too. It's so nice once it's done and over with!!

Be sure to let everyone....or at least me....know when you get your documents in!! This is the first time I booked our vacation in DH's name through the travel agency I'm under. Usually when they send clients documents it's pretty close to the trip. It makes me SO NERVOUS every time. Anyway, I want to have a basis for comparison so I can start bugging them if I need to. A side note.....I hate how it works, Disney sends it to my mother agency and then they send it to me and then I hand them over to my client. I once got a clients documents in THE WEEK OF their vacation. I was freaking out on the mother agency!

Tile is on the floor and counters, the walls have been painted but the cabinets need to be done. And since it's been so long I want to change the counters and the color on the walls. It's the neverending job.

Ouch! on the boat injury. (You know he embellished that one when he went to work, hehe). My DH just cut the tips of his finger, almost off, didn't count the stitches, but his was from a ladder. Boys, boys, boys.

Great job on the calendar! I have various supplies to make ours and haven't decided 100% on what I'm doing. Yours gave me ideas though. Thanks for sharing.

I am going to try to call tomorrow - we had guests here all evening, then almost all day tomorrow. It's difficult to call with Sophia. but will try...afraid everything will be sold out...air fare is not great, but not awful either. Wish me luck!!

I know this all too well!! We were forced to start the remodeling process after hurricane Rita. We just kept it going from there. About 1 project a year. I'm so glad it's over!!! I'm so glad we got a break from hurricanes this year. At least we have a year to breathe before something happens and we have to start all over again.

I work in the insurance industry so we were very glad to have a hurricane free season. My sister had lots of damage from Rita too.
