As I said before.....I firmly believe that my planning obsession is directly related to the absolute chaos of my family vacations when I was a kid. There are a couple of "strong" obsessions you will learn about in this PTR. They are the binder & shopping the travel sized aisle.....well, shopping anywhere for Disney stuff really. Since it is still early for me to hit the travel aisle and obsess over the tiny goodness of all the products there, allow me to introduce you to my NEW BINDER!!!
For the cover this trip I went with a "Disney Meet" theme. We love family adventures and it seems as though in almost every trip we've taken as a family, we've been able to participate in a meet of some sort. My very first meet was Mary(Miz Diz) during the focker crocker exchange! That year I had signed up to exchange a stuffed crocodile with another family. While each family had him (his name was freddie focker....RIP), we were to take pictures of his adventures around WDW. I wish I would have thought to take pictures with her back then. I think we were both "newbies" to the "meets" world, so neither one of us thought about it.
Oh well. Our next meet was with Jordan and his family/friends as well as Rosie! The meet after that was with Wirki & Winkers and family! Every meet was so nice. It's great to finally get to meet someone you've been chatting with for a year or more!
Ok enough rambling. Here are the rest of my binder pictures. This time I went to Office Depot and snagged some colored coded plastic page covers!!! Ok, let me hear the ooh's and ahh's now!
I also got some new pens with highlighters on the other end. They also have colored page "flagger" stickers in them.
You can just pull them right out of the pen cap and stick them on the edge of the pages!!!
I now have my printed confirmation, itenerary, park hours, magic hours, and friends schedules all neatly residing in my nifty new binder.
How's that for an obsession?
So, right now I'm watching the New Orleans Saints beat Tampa Bay. I am a die hard NO Saints fan!! I have been watching them with my dad since I can remember. Some people say I must like to be miserable if I'm a Saints fan. I say....NO!! I AM FAITHFUL!!
I have faith that my beloved Saints will go to the Superbowl during my lifetime. The VERY cool thing is....THIS may be their year!!!
And WHEN is the Superbowl??? IT WILL BE WHILE WE ARE IN WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am here to let all of you people know that if my Saints end up in the Superbowl this year I may just lose my mind from excitement!! I have no idea where I want to watch from or what to do about it. Should we head for the ESPN club?? Should we watch from the pub at our hotel?? Should we find a cozy-ish place within the park for that day?? Should we watch from our room?? Although the last option may get some complaints if anyone is trying to take a nap within a 3-4 room radius of our room. I tend to get loud.

OMG, you are going to laugh when I tell you this..... When I was fussing at my DH because he wouldn't wear his I used YOUR DH as an example!! I said "you know, they are a family of 3 just like us and they have a little girl. That man dressed up in a wizard of oz theme just for his daughters birthday!!"
He has tried really hard.
