These are my current rates:

i) MCO Dec 17-31 (2 weeks) intermediate car (National): $211 including taxes and fees
ii) Flying in MCO - Flying out TPA same as above (National): $218 including taxes and fees

Above rates using priceless code/ent. coupon
My question:
These rates are not using EA or ER. By using EA or ER would I get cheaper rates or does that have nothing to do with the base rate for national rentals??
Any info. would be greatly appreciated on this.
Thank you
Suzy V.

I don't think EA or ER gives you cheaper rates. EA just means that you can choose any car out of the line of cars when you get there - it's a different level of service, but I don't believe it affects the rates at all.

That said, most people who are registered for EA won't make their reservations by logging in with the EA number first. This is because EA comes with its own contract code, which doesn't give the low rates of the Priceless/Ent code. I think your rates are pretty good so far. You can always sign up for EA later and attach this reservation (I think that's how it works, or at least that is how I did it, as I recall!)

I have a reservation and would like to attach EA to (I joined at a later date). Can anyone let me know how this is done? :confused3

You can make a new reservation, under the Emerald Aisle login, and then cancel the old one. If your rate has increased, you could prob call National, and they MAY make you a EA reservation, honoring the old rate, but I'm not sure. I do know that they can't just add the EA onto your current reservation.

Hope this helps. Good luck :sunny:

Did I understand this correctly?
If prices go down I want to use the contract code (6600330) and the Ent. coupon (10009123). I would like to join EA for free. Did I understand that I can not do all of this at one time?

Thanks,
Kris

I would join first, then use the codes, make sure you print out the coupon, they will ask for it on check-out.

I have used 6600330 many times at MCO without a problem. I usually use a BJ's $20.00 off coupon at the same time, also with no problems.

I did my reservation while logged in with no problems. I just replaced the contract ID w/the new contract ID; my ressie remains Emerald Aisle, and I received the discount.

This is what I did, as well. I thought the only way you could get Emerald Aisle was to reserve while logged in. Since EA was the deciding factor in my rent v. shuttle debate, I wanted to make sure that was taken care of.
