Did anyone else watch it? I was rooting for the Lab, but I figured the Scottie would win it.

You're right...I fixed my title. I don't know why I thought it was Westminster. In general, I like big working dogs best too but my dog when I was growing up was a Lab (well, half Lab and half Dalmatian but looks-wise she was a Lab) so they're my absolute favorites. I'm always trying to figure out what kind of dogs Hurley has as part of his mixture and after watching, I think he looks like a mix between a Staffordshire, a Lab, and a Foxhound.

I didn't see the Weimeraner either unless I somehow missed it, but I was watching for it because Kodi is Lab and Weimeraner. I noticed they don't have Pits in the show though :( and Hurley either has Staffordshire or Pit (but to me, he looks more like a Staffordshire.)

The Weimeraner was near the beginning of the show and they just flashed on him briefly. I was disappointed in how quickly they went over some of the dogs!

They also did have an American Staffordshire with the terriers. I think he did pretty well.

I don't like these rushed shows where you don't get to see all of the dogs. I did see one of the new dogs though and it's gorgeous! This is the Irish Red and White Setter:

I did see the Am Staff...I think he finished second or third in the terriers, but I am having a hard time figuring out even after looking it up whether an Am Staff is the same thing as a Pit. I also liked the PBGB, even though I don't usually like small dogs.

Isn't the Am Staff one of the base breeds along with a Bull Terrier that make up the Pit Bull?

That's a new breed? I thought he was beautiful! I have always loved Irish Setter dogs, and this one really won my heart.

They mentioned several times during the broadcast that there were more details about each of the dogs on the web site. Hope that helps. :)

I like the dog shows on Animal Planet better. They show more breeds, plus they give you the names of the dogs and many times the handlers too.
