National Car Rental at Tampa

Has anyone rented a car from National in Tampa?

Is the Emerald Isle set up the same as Orlando? Same type of selection of cars?

Same basic set up as Orlando, but Tampa is not in the terminal. You have about a 5 minute shuttle ride to the National/Alamo location, but its on the way out of the airport anyway, so its really not that much out of the way.

How hard is it to tote your luggage on the shuttle and to National? 3 of us are going to be staying in the area for 2 weeks and will have lots of luggage! National's rates are the best but is it worth the extra hassle?

Not difficult at all and the driver will help, just be sure to tip him/her for the effort.

Thanks! I am still trying for the best rate for our trip on Tuesday. Has anyone used Budget or Thrifty at Tampa? They are in the airport and not a lot more than National.
