National Car rental at Sanford airport?

Some questions about them. I have the Emerald Isle and I thought I read that you just go to the car isle and pick a car (in the category that you have) then drive to the booth. Is this correct? It would be awesome because last summer I stood in line at the Dollar rental for about 45 - 60 minutes. Also, what if they are out of the category that you reserved? Do they allow you to go up a class? TIA for your help

Emerald Aisle is not available at all airports. It is not available in Sanford, I checked National's website. Since Sanford is a small airport, I can't imagine there would be a long line at the counter.

Thanks! It has to be faster than the Dollar counter last summer It is so hard to stand in line to get to Disney when you are so excited to BE there! Hopefully National will be better!

Go get the car before you get luggage or have one person get luggage and the other get the car. Most travelers will get their luggage first so if you go directly to the counter you will bypass the majority of the line. (This works for Sanford since they dont have a lot of flights coming in at the same time but wont work as well at a major airport)

We only have carry ons, but maybe I'll run ahead and let my mom bring up the rear (3 kids)
