National Car Codes for September???

We always rent with National--love the service and ease--and are needing to get a minivan for this years trip. Prices are crazy. Anyone have a good code? Thanks!!

You know, less than a week ago, I was getting some fairly good rates and did lock in for 8 days, mid-size, pick-up at CCC w/ return to the airport for $205. I used a AAA contract ID as well as a $35 coupon.

This week, however, when checking the rates it looks like they have all gone up by $150. I don't know what is happening but think as September draws closer, things will go down.

I am seeing a lot of folks who need a car in June getting great rates ... which have gone down at the same time the Sept ones went up!!

I'd say go out and book something right now and then just periodically revisit to try to jump on lower rates when they are released.

I found a link (I think here on the disboards) to some sort of a discount site. They had a picture of the e-coupon that currently is available on National's site but said the expiration was later this year. The coupon code was the same as the one that expires at the end of June.

Anyway, I added the coupon to my reservation and it took! I have found that if the coupon is not valid you will get a message saying so.

Anyway, I printed out the "picture" from the other site, but am hoping that once the current one on National's site expires it will be replaced so I can get a proper copy of the coupon.

When we rented in March it was from the Dolphin and I used that coupon; however, the coupon was not available for rental from the airport. I think maybe they only have so many coupons per site or something.

Anyway, that's the story. I don't have my print-out with me so don't know what the site address is.

was thinking it must be the same one as National. since they seem to extend offers using the same coupon id

since this is an ecoupon ( at least with national ) we have never had to present a hard copy ...but you are wise to have the print out backup just in case


just tried the National website 35$ coupon code for a reservation for august and it accepts it, so they must be extending the offer ....Thanks once again for posting this .....

I don't know if this will help but I came up with a 7 passenger minivan for 164.99
(just over 200.00 with the taxes) for pick up at the Car Care Center late August into September for 1 week rental. Used Mousesavers Walmart code 5000304 and the $35 coupon on National's site. Like others here said, it says expiry June 30 but it worked anyway.

I'm actually only looking for an intermediate size as we are only 3, but noticed all categories except the 8 passenger minivan are the same price right now and this might help someone. Don't know if you were looking for MCO pickup or not (we take ME and get car next day at WDW) but if anyone wants WDW pickup I think it's a great rate for a minivan.

Glad I read this, I just applied the 35.00 coupon to our Dec. reservation. Tried doing it a couple weeks ago and it wouldn't accept, this time it did..
