National add'l driver question

We reserved a car through National online. We're members of Emerald Club, so I can be a free additional driver with my DH. Question - can we still counter bypass, or do we need to stop at the counter so I can register as additional driver? I can't find anywhere on the ressie online where I can be listed as additional. I'm also an EC member, if that makes a difference. We'd REALLY like to counter bypass if at all possible.

You don't need to go to the counter. DH is the additonal driver when we pick up at MCO. He drives the car to the booth, gives them my license, CC and my EA card. They don't even ask for his license.
