National 8 day rental

Hi- Our 'week' vacation has us arriving at 11am and departing a week later at 5pm, so I need a car for eight days. Just reserved with National (EA, priceless code, ent. $20 off coupon) for $148 total. How does this sound, price wise, or should I keep looking?

I think you got a good deal. I can't seem to get my dates under $200, but my dates are not until May.

What are your dates? I have an 8 day rentel, June 14-22 for a total of 187 with priceless and $20 off coupon.

Your price is a pretty good one, but I would still check prices periodically to find a better deal....

Forgot to post the dates! Dec 8-15, WAHOO, I'M ALMOST THERE!!!!! Prices have been getting a little better over the past week. Originally I had a ressie for 7 days, 1pm-1pm, but I REALLY don't want to hang out at MCO so when rates started coming down I decided to go for the eight day rental. Rates for next spring should come down as the time gets closer. Keep checking! For our trip last June, I checked daily- posted all my codes and current rate on sticky notes along the edge of my monitor so I wouldn't have to keep looking them up! Made it easier to do a quick ressie check when work got boring!

Duds, I just looked at your dates. Last year we were in WDW June 15-30...rate for the 1st week, intermediate car, EA w/priceless and $20 off coupon was $113 tax incl, second week was $133. Made ressies for whole two-week period AND ressies for one week and one week. Since we got the car we wanted, we kept the 2 week ressie and let the one-and-one go. Even with an eight day ressie you will probably find a better price before then!

I'm renting a full size from National from 7am 4/30 - 5pm 5/7 for $219.23 (includes tax and fees) using codes from Mousesaver.com. I can't seem to get it any lower, but check almost daily.

I am hoping the rates come down before then. I was tracking rates last summer and the June rates came down right before June to awesome levels... I was hoping August would do the same and it did not. I can live with the rate I have, but I hope they come way down!
