Honestly...I fear for Joran's life if he's released. I truly believe that if he "walks" again someone will take justice into their own hands.
Good.

I don't think Natalee's mom or the family of this new murder would use that emotion.
I thought Interpol is European? Wouldn't the Peruvian government have priority? Since this is a fresh homocide, and it was in his room, and only days old? There is nothing new on the Natalee case, so why would Interpol get involved?
interpol is actually an international police force. according to their site, they have 188 member countries, and peru is one of them, thank goodness.

VERY BAD SITUATION - APPEARS THE FBI DROPPED THE BALL and YOUNG WOMAN IS DEAD
Beth Holloway was extorted. Joran van der Sloot took money from her and used it to finance his trip to South America where it is now believed he murdered.
Beth Holloway wanted to know what happened to her daughter. Joran van der Sloot said he would tell her if she paid him. She brought in the FBI. The events happened in Aruba.
The FBI, as early as May 10, knew they had a case against Joran van der Sloot for wire fraud and extortion but failed to act until today. Had they arrested him when they had the case against him, May 10, he would not have had the money to travel to South America and murder.
The FBI and the Aruba police were both involved in the events beginning before May 10.
There are many unanswered questions and it appears this second murder was preventable had van der Sloot been arrested. The FBI has a lot of explaining to do. Why did they wait? What did they know and when? Why were they not at least following him? They knew he committed a crime as of May 10.
And now Beth Holloway's money was used - extorted - to make the unthinkable happen.
Yes, I Googled right after I wrote. It makes one realize how much work, agreements, structure we have in place internationally, that one takes for granted, but had to be worked out to get this level of cooperation.

If Interpol is taking their time, it is probably because they have to wait for the forensic lab tests to come in. The longer they can put off coming in, the later the time clock starts which they have to question him before they have to release him, if they have no solid evidence to charge Joran. The more testing they can do to build a solid case so they CAN charge him, the better.
According to CNN reports, this victim was stabbed several times. It wasn't a couple hesitant stab wounds done by someone who may have been trying to defend themselves from a woman gone wild. Criminal profilers and CSI forensic people usually say that many stab wounds is done by someone who has rage/past history issues with the victim, like a betrayed boyfriend or a domestic abuser, who just happened to find his GF with Joran of all people?
Or :by someone who's killed before, (and it has become easier,) and is projecting his past stuff onto the new victim.
I know. My heart breaks for them. I can't even imagine the pain, especially for Natalee's mother who doesn't even have her daughter's remains.
And you have a point about the bolded part. She's probably pulling out her own hair over the monster she created. I'm not saying he's guilty, but he's definitely got something sociopathic going on.
I don't think they really have any evidence, do they? Just that he was the last known person with her. Sure, he changed his story over and over again, but that is about it, right?
Actually it seems that the FBI now wants him too

Now am I crazy or is he now wanted by the FBI for trying to get money out of someone in the Holloway family in exchange for the info on where her remains are?

Oh sorry...I posted before I saw your comment. This is what I was referring to. How terribly terribly sad for him to get MONEY from Holloway and promptly use it to go somewhere only to murder someone else? Holy cow.![]()
Question is will this all lead to Natalie finally making it home?

at this point, i hold out little hope that natalee will be found, or that there will be any justice for her murder, as the investigation was so horribly botched (and some say intentionally, due to daddy van der sloot's connections), but i pray this monster pays for murdering stephany flores in peru.
