Natalee Holoway; Police question to stepfather.

I heard on the news last night, during a discussion of Natalee Holoway, that her step father was asked by the police, the day after she went missing, if she had a seizure disorder, specifically epilepsy. He thought it was a strange question because she didn't and it seemed to come out of the blue. After hearing JVS's taped confession, it is now obvious where the question could have come from and it suggests a police coverup. I also think that there was no "Daury" with the boat. I think it was his father.

I totally agree. They also asked her mom and dad if she had ever had seizures or if she had epilepsy. From what I heard her mom say they asked them several times, more than once. I think they (cops)knew from the first night she had had a seizure and Joran panicked and dumped her body.

Bingo! Sad to say and hate to think the worst, but Daddy's involvement has been my hunch from the beginning . I hope and pray they get to the bottom of this tragedy and whomever is responsible is held accountable. However, like Beth Twitty stated, 'whether Joran is ever prosecuted or not, the rest of his life will be hell on earth with what everyone suspects'.

There is a very clear audio/video tape that was secretly recorded by a noted crime reporter who set up Joran. Joran was "befriended" by a man who developed the relationship over a period of five months. In the tape, JVS confesses to arranging the disposal of Natalee's body at sea, after describing what apparently was an "end of life" seizure. He didn't know if she was dead or not when her body was sent overboard.

They had "Daury" on 20/20 when they showed the video. He said he had nothing to do with this and he didn't know he'd be implicated until he saw the tape. He was in Amsterdam at school when Natalee went missing.

Personally I think JVS father had something to do with the dissapearance of Natalee's body. He is always getting his son out of trouble and why would this be any exception???

I watched the 20/20 episode and I think they "broke" the silence too soon. I think they could have gotten a lot more information had they continued.

The whole case is so sad. I always thought he had probably given her something like the date rape drug, and a lot of people throw up and have nasty reactions to it which could explain the seizure type action. Or, she may have had alcohol poisoning. Either way, Mr. van der Sloot is a slime and I do think his dad helped him get rid of her.

Ever since Greta from FOX NEWS went to Aruba when Natalee first went missing and she was talking to Joran' father in his home and he was SWEATING profusely while talking to her - I knew/suspected he was involved.

I definitely think Joran's father was involved. And a police coverup is definitely possible. The father is a high ranking judge. He has a lot of power.

Let me see if I can find a link to a press conference that some of you may be interested in. I make no claim as to its accuracy, though, so please, do not feel that I am claiming it as fact.

Edit: I may have gotten ahead of myself. I barely read the OP and I see we're not speaking of the same information. The information I was going to post was of a man and a woman who recently did a press conference and they stated that Jug Twitty had been molesting Natalee and that Natalee was pregnant when she arrived in Aruba. It went on to show that Natalee took the trip as a way to run away from home.

I don't think I'm going to post the link, though. Personally, I feel it's nothing but a sleazy tactic and it has absolutely no substance or foundation to it at all. The 2 giving the interview did state that they've got 100% proof to back their assertions up though. So.....

I do believe investigators need to look at this information to determine if there is any truth to it, and maybe they are or have done just that.

I always suspected daddy has some involvement in a coverup. Like father like son, I suspect. Both are arrogant rotten apples. Hopefully Karma will get them, if the law won't.

Well, there is a Daury, but he wasn't in Aruba at the time of Natalee's disappearance. Joran called him by first and last name and they found such a person in the Netherlands.

He at one point did live in Aruba, but was away at school when Natalee disappeared. This boy never owned a boat, much less a banana boat.

When interviewed, he was upset that Joran had done that to him. He did say that Joran had apologized profusely for giving his name to De Vries.

Like you, I think the older man who Joran trusts more than anyone else is dear old dad, and as Joran stated, he owes him his life and will NEVER name him.

Also, on Greta did you hear the crime reporter when Greta asked him about Joran dad? You could tell he had a lot he wanted to say but held back. I think he knows something about the dad but didn't want to divulge on national t.v. This whole case stinks.

Side note: did anyone else think Beth Holloway looked different?

When Natalee's dad mentioned being questioned about epilepsy, that screamed "cover up" since Day One.

I'd bet money on Daddy being Boat Boy.

Either that or Boat Boy is the guy who provided the date rape drug (or drug of whatever type) to Joran and so Boat Boy knew he was in deep doo-doo too and therefore had a good reason to get rid of her body so as to not implicate himself. "Hey, she's dead and the drug you gave me killed her. You're in this as deep as I am if I get caught. You need to help me get rid of the body." That sort of thing. I haven't heard that angle suggested yet and I'm a little surprised no one has done so.

I sure would hate for Joran to slip and fall into an Amsterdam canal while wearing a pair of cement shoes......

She's had her eyes done, at a minimum.....maybe her lips. Just saying. She's entitled.
