Natalee Holoway; Police question to stepfather.

She's had her eyes done, at a minimum.....maybe her lips. Just saying. She's entitled.

I agree. Nothing is more aging than what she has been through.

These poor parents of Natalie. They have been through complete hell and I hope that dad and son rot in hell for what they did.

I heard on the news last night, during a discussion of Natalee Holoway, that her step father was asked by the police, the day after she went missing, if she had a seizure disorder, specifically epilepsy. He thought it was a strange question because she didn't and it seemed to come out of the blue. After hearing JVS's taped confession, it is now obvious where the question could have come from and it suggests a police coverup. I also think that there was no "Daury" with the boat. I think it was his father.

OMG. This makes sense.

Didn't the mother take up with JonBenet's father or something? Are they still together?

I have to say, this is exactly what I think. I have followed this story from day one. I feel so sorry for Natalee and her family.

I do too. There was a lot of criticism for those who called for a boycott of Aruba based on the inaction of the investigation and it incompetence. There were those that argued that bad things can happen anywhere and that the "island" should be held responsible for the behavior of one of two people. HOWEVER; it is looking more and more like there was a deliberate coverup and an attempt to deceive, particularly when the issue of seizure activity is part of the questioning by the police. It begs the question; what did they know, and when did they know it? If they knew it within 48 hours of Natalee's death and here we are years later asking that question, I would certainly think twice about putting Aruba on my itinerary.

Do people vomit when they have a seizure? I've always thought that maybe Natalee threw up and some of it got on Joran's shoes (thus the need to dispose of them, it was the only logical thing I could think of). If so, they'd surely have had some evidence of it there at the beach.

I've seen TV where actors pretend to be having a seizure, but I've never witnessed it first hand.

BTW, I do want to apologize to everyone for my first post in this thread. I saw Natalee's step dad in the topic and immediately my brain went into, OMG mode. As if those allegations had been proven and that's all I could think of.

Why should we buy the seizure story. He's lied throughout this entire thing. He probably made that up as well.

Also, on Greta did you hear the crime reporter when Greta asked him about Joran dad? You could tell he had a lot he wanted to say but held back. I think he knows something about the dad but didn't want to divulge on national t.v. This whole case stinks.

Side note: did anyone else think Beth Holloway looked different?

Beth looks as though she had botox or something done to her lips. Her face looks different.

I don't think anyone is putting stock in what Joran said, but LE did ask Jug Twitty if Natalee was prone to seizures the day after she went missing.

The question then is, why would they ask such a question? They had to have some sort of evidence that led them to believe that.

When Natalee's dad mentioned being questioned about epilepsy, that screamed "cover up" since Day One.

I'd bet money on Daddy being Boat Boy.

Either that or Boat Boy is the guy who provided the date rape drug (or drug of whatever type) to Joran and so Boat Boy knew he was in deep doo-doo too and therefore had a good reason to get rid of her body so as to not implicate himself. "Hey, she's dead and the drug you gave me killed her. You're in this as deep as I am if I get caught. You need to help me get rid of the body." That sort of thing. I haven't heard that angle suggested yet and I'm a little surprised no one has done so.

I sure would hate for Joran to slip and fall into an Amsterdam canal while wearing a pair of cement shoes......:thumbsup2

This is another thought, the drug that someone may have given her.

I agree. I won't go to Aruba, and its because of the Holloway case.

Wll I just cant beleive that there was a seizure at all.I think that she was drunk and he tried to rape her or something and she fought him off and he ended up killing her.Or he did rape her and he was afraid she would remember and then he killed her.
I just cannot beleive for a second that it happened like that.

I'm not saying there WAS a seizure, just that Joran may have told the "seizure story" almost immediately to SOMEONE.....otherwise, why would the authorities question the Holloways/Twittys about it from the get-go?

IMHO, the seizure story may be a very well thought out plan.....meaning Judge Daddy thought of it, not Joran.......to establish that Natalee died of natural causes and not at Joran's hand just in case her body should ever turn up. This seizure story is a CYA to enable Joran to say, "All I did was dispose of her body. She just died right in front of me and I had nothing to do with that......it was a seizure." The penalty for disposing of a body is peanuts compared to murder.

If he can put forth the story that she died upon having a seizure, and there is nothing to contradict that, he is in a VERY good position, legally speaking. I may be wrong, but I believe I heard the penalty there for disposing of a body is six months. Big deal. So the lesson is, get rid of a body effectively and you can rest easy. Shark infested waters are very helpful.

I can. It is not unusual when someone is near death, that they will have a seizure. It isn't an "epileptic event" but brought on by anoxia to the brain for whatever reason, drugs, alcohol, suffocation, etc. The fact that he described a seizure to the undercover agent, and her parents were asked repeatedly, says to me that he told someone of her last moments.

Seizures can also happen as a result of head trauma...so I totally believe it is possible she had a seizure, either as a result of the combination of the alcohol & date rape drug, or as a result of head trauma.

IMHO it sounds like the authorities were looking for a reason to pin the seizure on, so they could rule the death natural causes.

I think the seizure story, whether it is true or fabricated, is definitely being used as a means to establish her death as being from NATURAL causes as opposed to murder. Or at the very least, establishing reasonable doubt concerning murder, so that enough jurors would buy the natural causes story to avoid a guilty verdict. (Or for that matter, avoid a murder charge in the first place.)

Maybe he did do something to bring on a seizure.......He just conveniently leaves THAT part of the story out and only yaks about the seizure. That gives the events of the night a whole different slant. And we have only his version of events to go on. We all know just how reliable and trustworthy he will be when he swears on a Bible. :rolleyes1 I wouldn't be surprised if a bolt of lightning comes down and zaps him on the forehead right then and there. :thumbsup2

There are so many disgusting parts to this story, how can you pick just one? But the one tidbit that made my mouth drop open was when he was confessing to Patrick. Patrick asked, "are you sure she was dead?". And after pressing a few more times, Joran admits he can't be sure. She could have been in a coma.

Hello, then you killed her you jacka$$!

Whatever the truth is, he's total scum and I totally buy that daddy was involved. Like father, like son. :sad2:
