Nassau vs Lookout Cay pirate port adventure

We are going on our first cruise, 3 nights, visiting Nassau and Lookout Cay. Since it's just a short trip, we don't want to tied up with too many reservations/excursions. We want to only book 1 port adventure for the trip. We probably won't do much else at Nassau except this excursion for safety reasons. (I heard it is not safe in some areas just beyond the port). Any reviews on the following? Kids will be 10, 7.5, & 4.5. Thanks!

We did Blackbeard's Revenge in Nassau and LOVED it! The Pirates on the ship were really wonderful and funny. We enjoyed being out on the water and the Rum Punch didn't disappoint either. (They have soft drinks for those who did not want the Pirate's Brew). There were games/ skits and all of it very acceptable for children as well as adults. We had a great day. We have been to Lookout Cay, but did not participate in the Pirate excursion. Have a great cruise!

I agree with Blackbeard's Revenge in Nassau. We did this in Oct. with DS8 and it was a lot of fun! Exceeded our expectations!

We are also interested in this for our grandsons. I haven't heard any reviews on the Pirates of Eleuthera on Lookout Cay. Anyone heard anything on it? We are trying to decide too.

We recently did the sea lion encounter and loved it. It is a bit pricey, but I found it worth every dime. You get up close and personal with this beautiful creature.

How far away is Blackbeard from your cruise ship? Is it a long walk? Are you guided by Disney cast members? Traveling without my husband so nervous to walk around Nassau a little!

It was not far at all and there is ALWAYS a Disney guide/ leader. You'll be in a group from the ship, so you won't be left on your own. Enjoy your adventure!
