Our kids at the time were 8, 6 and 3. They still talk about it to this day. Thanks for the creative mom comment but that is one thing that I am NOT. But it was sweet of you to say!

I just rolled with the flow....We plan on doing basically the same thing in May...our kids then will be 10, 9 and 5.

Whatever you do, do not go on the historic tour. It is disappointing for adults and children would hate it. You would be getting in and out of crammed vans and listening to uninspired canned talks.

That's why I suggest the harbor cruise if you really want to get off the ship and go on some sort of excursion. Sure the talk is still canned, but there is not getting on/off several times. You get on a boat and take a leisurely boat ride in the harbor.
