Don't know if it makes any difference whether you're on the 3 or 4-night excursions but we (4-night) visited the Atlantis Resort while in Nassau. Would highly recommend it but you might want to try it on your own to save money.

You'll find several limo or van drivers willing to take you to Atlantis for about $4 or $5 pp plus $1 for the bridge. Spend as much time as you want exploring the beautiful resort and casino and go back to the ship when ready. Just catch another van or limo for the return.

Have a wonderful cruise.

We are also looking for things to do... and seen your suggestion about Atlantis...

I understand the per person charge for transportation; but what type of charges are there to use the pool, slides, and Discovery Area etc...

I found a website www.atlantis.com that showed some really neat pictures... Thank you for your suggestion.

There are several excursions from the ship at Nassau. Go to Disney Online for a complete list along with the cost of each.

The Atlantis Beach Day excursion from the ship includes use of a reserved area of the Atlantis beach, chair and towel, lunch coupon, transportation, and plenty of time to shop and visit the casino. It does not include the use of the pool or slides. $60pp ages 3-10; $45pp ages 3-9.

I imagine you would have to contact Atlantis directly (or travel agent) for information on use of their facilities as a guest.

Bon Voyage!

The only way to obtain full access to the facilities at the Atlantis Resort (including access to the pools) is to book a room either at the Atlantis or at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island.
