The 15th race of the 2009 36 race season takes us to Brooklyn, Michigan for the "Lifelock 400".
The race will be held at the Michigan Iternational Speedway. This track is a 2.0 mile per lap oval and will run 200 laps for a total race distance of 400 miles.
Qualifying is Friday, June 12th....so please make your picks before the qualifying starts.
This is the 1st of 2 races held here each year.
The driver with the most wins here since 1975 is Bill Elliot. Bill Elliot owns 7 victories here.
Other history;
In 6/08, #18 Kyle Busch won the pole in a race wonby #88 JR.
In 8/08, #83 B Vickers had the fastest qualifying time and #99 C Edwards flipped at the start-finish line.
In 6/07, JJ Yeley had the pole but #99 did a back flip then grabbed the checkered flag.
In 8/07, #24 J Gordon had everyone looking at the back of his DuPont Chevorlet to start the race and #2 Kurt Busch was looking at everyone else in his rear view mirror to end the race.
