I was also happy for Schrader but was hoping he would of had a top 10. Don't forget he gets to do the opening on Inside Winston Cup Mon. night :D

This will be the 2nd time Ken gets to open the show in about a month, the first time was funny cause he just didn't know what to do - he even said he was so used to it being someone else. DH made me promise to tape it in case he's not home in time ;) For Gordon fans...he is supposed to be co-hosting "Totally NASCAR" this week - I think it is tonight but don't quote me on that. Steve Burns announced that the other day, said "Gordon has hosted Saturday Night Live and Co-hosted Regis and Kelly - let's see if he's ready for this show." Jeff is also supposed to be on Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain on Tuesday night ;)

Bristol is always a great race. I'm very glad that Rusty's tests all turned up negative after his crash. Just plain old bad luck! Yeah, Busch won but he even admitted that he was uncomfortable in victory lane. He felt that his "passing" of Marlin would tarnish his already tarnished reputation. It did and I just hope he can turn things around. It's not just Spencer anymore that is throwing evil glances his way. Kurt is having a hard time finding a friendly face in the garage and that does not bode well for him at all.

The quote is rubbin' is racing, but what Busch did wasn't just rubbin', it was going after Jimmy's car trying to cut a tire down AND admittiing it on his radio! He should have sat out last nights race as well.

The above quote is correct and DE Sr. (most of the time) lived by it. If his car was faster or he had a better line, he would rub you to let you know he was there and that he was soon going to pass you. The #97 was trying to WRECK the #7 on purpose and was arrogant/stupid enough to announce it to the world on his radio.

Only 27 more days until I get to see the Cup guys live at Dover. I love the Monster Mile and look forward to it 2 times every year. It was cold and wet at the June race so it should be hot and sunny for the September one. Anyone else going to any races this year? Next week is Darlington and I'm sure the lady will hand out a fair share of her famous stripes. I can only hope Kenseth can repeat his performance of last year (37th). The #24 seems to always be strong at Darlington and looking at his recent string of luck (all bad) will more than likely make a statement that he hasn't gone away. The #22 also runs very well at this track. Have a grat week everyone.

Our favorite scene is from a few years ago when Kenny, Mikey and Johnny were skipping together arm-in-arm on a track - does anyone else remember that?

I laughed so hard when they aired this! The three (4 with Allen) of them are dynamic together. I tune in just to hear what they have to say about events of the weekend. Mikey almost always if off on his own somewhere. I like when Kenny Wallace subs for Johnny or kenny.

ya all know that Jimmy Spencer did not get the name Mr. Excitement for being a nice guy? In his day he was an arrogant and fiesty punk himself, who use to wreck everyone and anyone. He use to get into his share of fist fights also, which apparently he still enjoys practicing every now and again to make sure he still has the kick. Now I am not condoling what happened between Kurt Busch and him, but Jimmy is not a saint by any means. They all need to control the anger monster...
