Congrats to Ryan Newman on the getting his first pole of the season. I just hope he doesn't do it every week - imagine how boring the Bud Shoot Out would be next year Poor Rusty, so close yet so far again. Them Dodges were stout in qualifying and in practice taking 6 of the top 10 positions, even had a rookie up there. I'm happy Gordon has a good qualifying position, lots of Gordon haters on other boards were making fun of him for using a provisional last week. It was of course his second provisional in 12 years but they insisted it was the beginning of the end - LOL. Looking forward to some great racing on Sunday. The Rock is always exciting!

Oh how great would it be for Rusty to FINALLY get a win this week! Thought for a minute he was going to have the pole. All 3 PenskeSth drivers qualified good. Nothing counts though until the last lap Sunday. I HAVE MY TOES AND FINGERS CROSSED!!

Boy, my picks weren't to good. I enjoyed the end of the race. I thought for a minute that Kahne won, so did his crew. I felt bad for them but 2nd place was a great finish. I was very happy to see Jr. finish 5th and poor Stewart I won't even go there. DH is so bumed out thats there's not a race next Sun.
