First of all, thank you to everyone for all the great responses on my previous questions. We are three days away from our trip and we are so excited.

No one has commented on the Nascar Cafe? Has anyone been here? What did you think of the menu? atmosphere? Do they have a children's menu?

Thanks again! My son loves race cars and we are thinking of checking out this restaurant?

Hi, yeah we didn't like Nascar at all, in fact it was the only restaurant that we DIDN"T like. The food was just NOT good and the service wasn't much either. (Please keep in mind this is our opinion from last summer, things can change) I do believe that they had a children's menu. It was standard fair, not done that well, that the only why I can describe it....that said, it is cool looking in there, so you can always go in and look around or have a sundae or something. Hope you have a great time.

Last summer my DM and DD went there, and I asked her just yesterday about going there on our upcoming trip, she said she'd never eat there again, "it was awful"......... so, we may go look at it, but will skip eating there, unless we hear it's changed!!!

Thank you for the responses!!! Everyone here is so great.

Anyone else. Maybe someone with a positive experience. My little boy really wants to eat here, but if it's not good, then maybe we will just visit.

Keep the Nascar Cafe reviews comin'!!!!

Thanks again!

It's weird, because NASCAR Cafe seems to be the one restaurant with so many mixed results. I've eaten there twice and had good food and good service.

Our family has eaten here two times. Once last year and then again this year. We have three boys-9, 12 & 15. All of them, including my husband insisting on eating here again. Both times we had positive experiences. The place was not crowded and our waiter was real nice. The boys love the atmosphere and like playing in the arcade. You even get a free ride on the simulator downstairs. Last year they rode it (I think only two can go)but this year it wasn't working. Anyway, go and see for yourself. You can always just walk around and check out the menu and decide for yourself.
Also, the waiter knew that I was going to share a platter with my one son and he didn't seem rattled and nicely brought me my own plate. Graciously, took a picture of our whole family too.

We have eaten there several times & had no problems. It's down home cooking- nothing special or fancy, but DH had steak & potatos & I had chicken fingers (yummy). The second time we went they were really good about working with my diet & removing certain items from what I had ordered. We are pretty picky eaters, so if we can eat there, I say give it a shot !

Actually this is the only restaurant, except Hard Rock, that we went to on City Walk on both our visits, 2001 and 2002. We thought the food was good, and the prices were good. Had great service both times and would go back again.

Eaten at NASCAR Cafe twice with no complaints (01 & 02)

Will eat there next week. (07/30- 08/06)

Never a complaint. There was some sort of nacho dinner that was delicious and DW (now you have me doing this DW thing-not t obe confused with Darrell Waltrip-who is part owner I believe) gets the chicken ceasar salad and says its great.

Dont understand why there are those who do not like it.
But that is there opinion.

Ambience stinks - not much NASCAR really. some silly videos and cars on the ceiling with wheels going around. Show cars in front. Gift shop downstairs.

Food is delicious IMHO.

Bob
