Does anyone know if the Nascar Cafe is still undergoing refurbishments? When did it start? Or has it started? When is it ending? Thanks.

Nascar is one of our favorites, even though I'd rather swim naked in sewage than get stuck watching an entire NASCAR race , and we missed it during our December trip. We were there December 14 - 17, and it was already closed for refurb at that time. We can't wait to see the new NASCAR when they reopen. Hope anyone who sees it before we get there in May will post new pics and write a report. The new concept sounds cool. I just hope they don't change the menu all that much!

I didn't really care for the menu so I do hope they change it. My kids are NASCAR crazy so we will be going there again.

Walked past it last Tuesday evening, and fromw hat little I could see the inside still looked gutted. February seems a bit optimistic (didn't Bubba Gump's end up opening a month or two late?).

Thanks for posting that link! It's always been our first stop on the first day we arrive. It sounds like it's really going to be nice. I'm glad they're keeping some of the menu items like the ribs---best I've ever had! It will be nice to have something new to entice the family into another trip!
